A long term project initiated by the "" Communauté de Communes Pays du Mont-Blanc "" in collaboration with the ""Communauté de Communes de la Vallée de Chamonix Mont-Blanc"", has permitted the creation of the "" Association des gardiens de refuges et gîtes du Pays du Mont-Blanc "" (Association of all mountain-huts and inns keepers within the Mont-Blanc region). On Tuesday, October 13th, 2015, 30 mountains-huts keepers of the "" Tour du Pays du Mont-Blanc "" met at the "" Communauté de Communes Pays du Mont Blanc "" , in Passy, in order to participate in the first general meeting of their association. This meeting was held under the supervision of Mr Yann JACCAZ, Vice-President of the Communauté de Communes Pays du Mont-Blanc , in charge , and of his counterpart of the Vallée de Chamonix Mont-Blanc.
